{"id":297,"date":"2021-11-15T09:27:16","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T09:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jalimentaria.wpengine.com\/?p=297"},"modified":"2022-01-26T21:17:14","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T21:17:14","slug":"campana-regional-para-proteger-la-vida-de-defensoras-y-defensores-de-derechos-humanos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/justiciaalimentaria-dev.host3ip.eu\/ca\/campana-regional-para-proteger-la-vida-de-defensoras-y-defensores-de-derechos-humanos\/","title":{"rendered":"Campa\u00f1a regional para proteger la vida de defensoras y defensores de derechos humanos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La organizaci\u00f3n Justicia Alimentaria, junto a la Asociaci\u00f3n Catalana de Ingenier\u00eda Sin Fronteras y sus organizaciones locales socias de Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua y Guatemala lanzan la campa\u00f1a regional \u201cDefendamos a Defensoras y Defensores\u201d, una iniciativa que persigue crear conciencia en la poblaci\u00f3n para defender y apoyar a las personas que alzan la voz para preservar la vida y los bienes naturales en sus territorios.<\/p>\n<p>La campa\u00f1a que se desarrollar\u00e1 de manera simult\u00e1nea en cuatro pa\u00edses de Centroam\u00e9rica durante los cuatro pr\u00f3ximos meses; y es un llamado a que se mejore el respeto de los derechos humanos mediante el reconocimiento social de su labor y los riesgos que enfrentan por alzar la voz contra las actividades productivas que vulneran los derechos de la poblaci\u00f3n e intensifican el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador y Nicaragua han ratificado los compromisos para alcanzar en 2030 los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Los ODS est\u00e1n formulados para erradicar la pobreza, promover la prosperidad y el bienestar para todas y todos, proteger el medio ambiente y hacer frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico a nivel mundial. Los retos para la regi\u00f3n son grandes, por lo que la campa\u00f1a espera contribuir a escuchar las distintas posiciones para lograrlo.<\/p>\n<p>Las defensoras y defensores de la tierra y del territorio (agua, bosques, tierra y otros bienes naturales) est\u00e1n en la primera l\u00ednea de defensa contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico debido al abuso de la acci\u00f3n extractiva; por ello se han visto bajo amenazas, hostigamiento, acoso judicial, agresiones, ultrajes e incluso asesinato.<\/p>\n<p>Ante esto, la Coordinadora Regional en Centroam\u00e9rica de Justicia Alimentaria, Beatriz Barrientos, expres\u00f3 que \u201cesta campa\u00f1a es un llamado a la sociedad en su conjunto para que contribuya respaldar la labor defensores y defensoras de la tierra y del territorio.
